I have a feeling your recon drones will be shot down before they can gather useful intel. We advise against attacking F799 but as a precaution Trecdom has gone to DEFCON 4 and Threatcon Bravo.

Moving your country to DEFCON 4 tells us that you will aid F799. I suggest that you should move DEFCON 3. Also Do not underestimate the V1-UAV. Cause it is highly armed with states of the art technology. Should you ever somehow aid f799. We shall invade your country... |

We could go to DEFCON 3 but that will put us even closer to a war footing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DEFCON We are sticking with DEFCON 4 until such time as actions are taken one way or another. ![]()

Independent Planets issues a stern rebuke to Crazy Hell, stating that unwarranted declarations of war are forbidden by our Regional Constitution, as well as unbecoming of a member of the Representative Council. IP will also see your DEFCON 4s and raise you three more, making it DEFCON 7. Our red button pushers are getting their index fingers ready. |

You know, if F799 & CHW want to have a war, we don't think we would invoke Article IX. Both have been here long enough and both know the possible side-effect (getting mad IRL, getting feelings hurt IRL, etc). We rpobably would not even step in if peeps started choosing sides and it started off The Great Texas versus CHW Wars... Who knows, it could be a new chapter in Texas history....

So the constitution isn't rules, or guidelines? Just sort of suggestions? Good to know these things. |

Oh Bears... Ok CHW, Bears has a point. War over. Everybody go home. We can put the Repeal of Article IX to a vote next Election: February 28, 2010. Hostilities could begin as soon as March 21, 2010. Until then, as Bono is fond of shouting: No War!

Hey CHW if you want a war we can work something out on the NS forum with one of my puppets. As they are not in TX I don't think it violates the Constitution. Afterall I know F799 and myself have been involved in Future Tech military engagements on the NS Forum. |

Can't we set up a sandbox in the forum for just such wargames? |

I'm not leaving the forum, just taking the war elsewhere. I agree though that a wargame would be better than a real war. |

You know, since F799 has yet to comment on the whole situation, it's unclear as to if he accepts, or even knows about, this declaration of war. And I think we all know that any kind of RP war must be void if one of the participants doesn't show. |

So, then just tell us the rules don't apply, 'cause it's a Role Play, which is fine by us, and let 'em duke it out, assuming the other army ever shows up to play.

I agree if it's just for RP then I don't see a "war" as to much of a Constitutional crises. |
